JunBan

This policy applies to JunBan, the main puzzle game for iOS and Android, provided by R3ality Projects Ltd. Contact hello@r3alityprojects.co.uk.

Your puzzles

Puzzle progress, stars, settings, unlocked levels and reward-delivery identifiers are saved on your device. There is no JunBan account or developer-operated cloud save. Device backups may contain this data. Removing the app may remove local progress and video-earned unlocks. A full-game purchase can be restored through the same Apple Account or Google Play account used to buy it. Purchases are platform-specific.

Purchases

Apple or Google Play handles the optional full-game purchase. JunBan verifies purchase entitlements through the relevant platform. Android stores a signed purchase record on your device to recognise purchases while offline. We do not receive your payment-card details. The store provider’s privacy policy applies to its services.

Optional rewarded videos

The first 100 puzzles are free. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may process information such as your IP address, approximate location, device and app information, advertising interactions, identifiers and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. JunBan requests non-personalised ads and does not request Apple's tracking permission. Non-personalised ads still involve data processing.

The advertising SDK is started only after you request a video and the applicable consent process allows an ad request. You can decline consent and continue playing puzzles you already have access to. You can revisit available consent controls in Options → Privacy choices. Full-game purchasers receive no video offers.

Player age and younger players

JunBan 1.23 and later ask for an age group before showing the unlock options. The choices are under 13, 13–15, 16–17, 18 or over, and prefer not to say. The group is saved on your device; we do not ask for a name, date of birth or location to make this choice. You can play the first 100 puzzles without answering.

JunBan sends Google an advertising-treatment setting, not your date of birth. Under-16 and unknown-age players receive Google's child treatment: non-personalised ads, restricted ad vendors and no advertising identifier in ad requests. Ages 16–17 receive teen treatment. JunBan requests non-personalised ads and General-rated ad content for adults too. Available ads and consent controls depend on Google's service and the player's region; no ad availability or revenue is guaranteed.

For under-16 and unknown-age players, the consent platform is also marked under age of consent; it does not ask the child to consent to personalised advertising. This does not mean ads use no data: Google may still process information needed to deliver ads, provide security and prevent fraud. If a video cannot be provided, you can keep playing your existing puzzles.

For players under 18 or with no stated age, purchases, restore and external links use a parent/guardian check. Changing a saved age group also uses this check. This is an interface safeguard, not identity verification or legal parental consent. Changing age does not unlock puzzles. To report an unsuitable ad, use Options → Help & privacy → Report an ad, or contact us. Earlier test builds do not include this age screen; they must not be used as the child-inclusive release.

Permissions and analytics

JunBan does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone or precise location. It does not send your puzzle journal to a developer analytics service. Apple and Google may provide their own store, purchase and advertising reports.

Retention and your choices

Local records remain until you or your device remove them; backups may retain copies. Apple and Google retain service records under their respective policies. If you contact support, we use your message to respond and retain it only as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain your data, withdraw consent or complain to your data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We cannot retrieve local-only saves from a server.

Junban Junior

Junban Junior is a separate children's game. The monetisation described here applies only to JunBan. Junior remains completely free, with no ads or in-app purchases. See the separate Junior privacy policy. If you believe a child has provided personal information through JunBan's support or services, contact us.
